"My husband and I used Mandi as our Doula and took her childbirth
classes. She did an amazing job and we would definitely recommend her
services!
She is motivated and excited to share her knowledge of labor and childbirth
to her students. She made us feel comfortable asking questions and we
sought her advice on several occasions. The classes were fun and packed
full of material. We feel that they really helped us prepare for labor and to
know what to expect when the time came.
As our Doula, Mandi was very encouraging and supportive, exactly what we
had wanted! She jumped right in, making suggestions to help relieve the
pain and telling the hospital staff that I was doing an awesome job. Her
words of encouragement helped me, when I began to feel out of control.
She was also a second set of hands for husband, when I needed water or
for applying pressure to my back. These little things allowed my husband to
focus 100% on helping me work through contractions.
We were so very glad that she was there for the birth of our daughter and
feel that her expertise helped us in achieving the natural birth that we
desired! We will definitely use her again, if/when we have another child.

“My husband and I used Mandi as our childbirth instructor, as well as our
doula. Throughout the duration of the classes, Mandi was incredibly
enthusiastic as well as informative, and her dedication to and love of
natural births really showed and was contagious. I am so thankful to her for
the manner in which she taught the classes. My husband and I both walked
away from the classes with new information about the birth process (we are
first time parents), with confidence about this new, unknown territory, and
with a better relationship with each other. Mandi’s classes brought my
husband and I closer together, and the way she taught them gave my
husband and I a chance to really connect again amidst out crazy, hectic
lives. After the classes were through, we couldn’t imagine a better, more
caring person to be our doula, so we hired Mandi. She was fantastic
throughout my entire labor and delivery. She was so supportive and
encouraging, and between her and my husband, they gave me everything I
could have possibly wanted or asked for. Some situations came up during
the labor, and I had to have a c-section. Mandi stayed through the surgery,
giving her love and support the entire time. This, to me, was priceless. We
are also thankful that we had her perspective and that she was able to put
that down on paper and give us a story of our son’s birth. This is something
that was so personal and heartfelt; something that my husband and I will
cherish forever. I just can’t seem to find all the words to describe what a big
part she played in the birth of our son, or to express how appreciative my
husband and I are. So all I can say is that we absolutely love her, and
anyone who decides to allow her into their lives, is truly blessed.”

once and knew what we wanted to experience the second time around. We
wanted a less invasive birth with fewer interventions. We signed up for
childbirth classes with Mandi to refresh ourselves on what we learned three
years prior but to also learn more about the birthing process in detail and
educate ourselves on the options available versus the short, less
informative hospital course we had taken year earlier. Mandi’s classes
allowed us to be more relaxed as we approached the birth, knowing that if
we had any questions at any point in time she was available for us to call.
Her classes are more personal, allowing you to get to know her better and
ask any questions you may have. I highly recommend Mandi as a childbirth
educator to anyone- regardless of how many children they have birthed
before. I honestly could say that I don’t think our second daughter’s birth
would have gone as well without Mandi."

people present information, and you really did a tremendous job making us
